Aww...my little girl turned "21" yesterday! She was born on the first day of Spring and was she ever a beautiful flower that has bloomed into a woman who loves the Lord! In the realm of the world they say that it is the age for "the right of passage". I gave her to the Lord the day I laid eyes on her! She is still His and will always be His. I would say dance my little girl for the audience of One but she always has and I know she always will. As you begin your life with Jason, momma has to loosen the grip a bit, but I'm not worried ... you know who you are and Whose you are!
I use to quote this to my children all the time,
"Do right until the stars fall." I said it whenever they came to a place in their lives where they would be tempted to do the opposite of what they had always known to be right. Whether it was to turn the other cheek or to walk over and sit with the most unpopular child in the lunch room and have lunch with them.
"Do right until the stars fall." Then I would follow up by saying,
"And my dear the stars are not going fall because God placed them there for a reason."
"The integrity of the upright guides them but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity." Prov 11:3
So is the question.....What is "Integrity"? Well integrity in the dictionary is defined as; firm adherence to a code of especially moral or artistic values: Incorruptibility: an unimpaired condition: soundness: the quality or state of being complete or undivided: completeness.
I believe "Integrity" with a capital I is essential to a Christ like walk. It is definitely a
balance of what we say and what we actually do.
I love my parents and I believe without their influence and their love for the Lord whether it be considered conservative, staunch, or "King James" version style....I may not have very well known my Lord the way I do and love Him the way I do. Yes, I had to learn to be responsible for the relationship I have with my Lord, no one else. I love His Word and the human race He created.
Parents...
"Do not grow weary in well-doing for in due season you will reap if you faint not!" Gal 6:9
Bottom Line Today......"Christ was never worried about time because He had eternity on His mind and souls to find. He loved ultimately! Where do you draw the line?
